How long does shipping take?

We currently ship via FedEx, UPS and the US Postal Service. We determine the carrier at the time of shipping.
In-stock items are normally shipped within 24 hours unless otherwise noted. Orders received on weekends or holidays will ship on the next business day.

Standard Shipping usually takes 5-10 days for delivery.
Expedited Shipping usually takes 2-5 days for delivery.
3 Day Express Shipping takes 3 business days. Cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or internationally.
2 Day Express Shipping takes 2 business days. Cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or internationally.
Overnight Express Shipping takes 1 business day. Cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or internationally.

We are based in the middle of the country, so delivery times are often faster than shown above, but don't count on this for deadline-critical orders.
Delivery to some remote locations, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO addresses may take longer.

Items shipped straight from the manufacturer (drop-shipped) are out of our direct control. Please check the delivery time guidelines and notes for each product.

The above deadlines are for in-stock items with payment made at the time of ordering. While we make every effort to ensure items arrive on time, we cannot guarantee it because our carriers cannot guarantee it. International shipping and shipping to AK, HI, PR and some remote rural locations will take longer. Certain items can only be shipped by Standard Delivery (ground service). Personalized and some made-to-order items require longer processing times, be sure to check the product description before ordering.

International Shipments.

Shipping Costs to Canada and other International destinations varies.

How We Process International Orders:
1. When your order is initially placed, International shipping charges Are Not calculated or included on your original order.
2. Once your order is being processed and actual package dimensions and weight can be determined, we will send a Paypal Invoice for the International Shipping Charge.
3. Upon your payment of the PayPal Invoice, your order will be shipped. If payment is not received within 72 hours, your order will be canceled and refunded. All orders must be paid in full prior to shipping.

International Order Tips:
Shipping cost increase as actual Package Diminsions and Weight increases. To keep your shipping cost reasonable, please do not select large in size or heavy items. Packages weighing less than 4 lbs. are most reasonable in shipping cost. (FYI, Shipping Cost starts at approx. $18.00us, and goes up from there depending on size and weight of box)
If your country is not listed as a valid country to ship to, then please email us at [email protected] and we will try to get it added.

Note that all import fees and duties are not included in our shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping timelines for international orders vary depending on country, but can take up to 2-3 weeks.

Do you ship to my country?

We currently offer shipping to the United States, most of Europe, and several other countries. Please create an account by clicking the "My Account" link at the top right hand side of our site. During signup we'll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, please contact us at [email protected] and we will try to add it.

What are my payment choices?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, PayPal, and Checks by mail.

During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you. Orders paid by check must wait until the check clears payment before shipping.

What are my shipping charges?

Shipping Charges to the Lower 48 United States are based on your order subtotal:

We also have Fedex Ground Service available for anyone not wanting USPS Service (Delivery time is usually 3-5 days)
Fedex Express Saver (3 day), Fedex 2 day, and Fedex Overnight are also available for guaranteed shipping timelines.

For orders taken by phone, mail, or fax; standard shipping is flat-rate of $8.99 to the lower 48 states and $12.99 to AK, HI, and PR.

If you're in Southwest Missouri you can select 'Local Pickup' and avoid shipping fees altogether. Once your payment has cleared you can pick up your order at:

What is the return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order you may return it for a refund or replacement within 60 days of the purchase date. All claims for damaged or missing items must be made within 72 hours of delivery. Items being returned must be in the condition you received them and come with the original packaging intact. Returns not meeting the above conditions may be rejected or subject to a 30% restock fee. Personalized items, special-order items, gift certificates, and media items such as books, cds, dvds cannot be returned. Bulk Orders with 30 or more of the same item are non-returnable. For orders that were originally shipped free, our shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Please write your order number on the outside of your package and enclose a copy of the packing slip.

If your order arrived damaged in shipping, please contact us right-away (within 72 hours). It is important that you keep all packaging for claims purposes. We will arrange for a replacement and return of the original item. If you choose not to receive a replacement, our shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

If your return is shipped back to us after the time-frame indicated above or does not meet the conditions above, we regret that we cannot issue a refund or send the item back to you.

Shipping charges are not refundable.

Return Shipping Costs
The quickest and easiest way to return an item is to self-return the item. If you self-return an item, you'll pay the cost charged by the carrier. Alternatively, you can request a pre-paid shipping label. If you request a pre-paid label, and the reason for the return is not a result of a The Music Stand error, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For exchanges, please enclose a payment for re-shipping the new item back to you. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.
